SEPTEMBER 11-16, 2011 - FAITH TABERNACLE CHURCH - PASTOR JAMES FELLERS, SR.
We could hardly wait to return to Weir. There was a sense of anticipation in our hearts that God was going to do great things in this revival. God sees ahead and knows exactly what the needs are in each church. As we pray we ask Him to direct our thoughts and messages to this particular body of people. He has been faithful to do so. Our good friends, Pastor and Sister James Fellers, had their usual friendly welcome for us. We love these precious people and their family.
We witnessed answered prayer as the people responded to the preaching of the word. The altars were filled with seekers, reaching out to be filled with the Holy Ghost, to climb up higher spiritually.
Do you know what a privilege it is to stand there praying for someone to be Baptized with the Holy Ghost, and to be there at that very moment when the third person of the trinity comes down and enters in to abide in His fullness, and that person suddenly begins speaking in tongues...a heavenly language? Hallelujah! What an unspeakable joy. Praise God that we saw a mother of three, and also a young lady gloriously filled during this revival! The mother had just recently come back to a new commitment to the Lord.
It was a time of heart-searching, re-committing, and a new spirit of revival and evangelism that the Holy Ghost brought to many in the church. He is the faithful reviver of hungry souls.
It is a blessing when believers help by praying with those seeking the Lord. What a powerful outpouring of the Spirit!
We were happy to see the children participating on Sunday morning. How valuable and precious they are. Thank God for a church that still believes in having Sunday School. Yet their vision goes beyond to a daily Christian Academy where they are being educated from a Biblical perspective.
Many used their talents to glorify the Lord and be a blessing during the revival. We appreciated the musicians and singers.
Sister Goodwin spoke in a special session for the women that turned into some definite commitments for the Lord.
Some other pictures will continue to bring back good memories of the revival at Weir, including people, and even the deer we saw outside our window.
GOD BLESS FAITH TABERNACLE CHURCH!
