FEBRUARY 16
- 20,
2011- INDEPENDENCE, IOWA -CALVARY EVANGELISTIC CENTER - PASTOR WILLIAM
HILL
The Choir blessed us as they sang with exuberance and spirit.
Take special note of
that tiny little boy in the lower left of the third picture. He is
the little son of the sax player. When the service began he would go
to the front and stand there enthralled by the music, raising his
hands, rocking back and forth and just filling everyone with joy
over his enthusiasm! CLICK ON THE PICTURE
to see him in action! Night after night as the Word was preached the Holy Ghost touched many lives as was evidenced by those who headed for the altar in earnest prayer.
Our desire is always that the Lord will meet the particular needs of each congregation. It is at the altar where many of those needs are met. We praise the Lord for all He did in these meetings.
We loved the kindness of
all the people, and even the surprise 81st birthday celebration for
Brother Goodwin. What a wonderful time we had! It was also a special joy to be able to congratulate the newly engaged couple.
