FEBRUARY 16 - 20, 2011- INDEPENDENCE, IOWA -CALVARY EVANGELISTIC CENTER - PASTOR WILLIAM HILL

We looked forward to our visit with Pastor and Sister Hill in their very evangelistic church. What a joy it was to finally be there for revival.

The Choir blessed us as they sang with exuberance and spirit.

And the musicians glorified God on their instruments

Take special note of that tiny little boy in the lower left of the third picture. He is the little son of the sax player. When the service began he would go to the front and stand there enthralled by the music, raising his hands, rocking back and forth and just filling everyone with joy over his enthusiasm! Night after night as the Word was preached the Holy Ghost touched many lives as was evidenced by those who headed for the altar in earnest prayer.

Our desire is always that the Lord will meet the particular needs of each congregation. It is at the altar where many of those needs are met. We praise the Lord for all He did in these meetings.

We loved the kindness of all the people, and even the surprise 81st birthday celebration for Brother Goodwin. What a wonderful time we had!


I wish we had taken a picture of Brother Hill grilling steaks for the delicious meal he and his wife prepared for us at their house.  Thanks everyone! We love you!

It was also a special joy to be able to congratulate the newly engaged couple.
