May 12-15, 2010- Export, PA - Free Gospel Bible Institute Graduation

What a joy it was to be present for the graduation of the Class of 2010 on May 15th.  It is a great class of leaders prepared to step out into the whitened harvest field with the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. A little bit of personal thrill may be part of our joy, as our Grandson, Andrew Goodwin, was the class president and also the Valedictorian speaker. Chris Jordan had the honor of being the Salutatorian.

May 5-9, 2010- Somerset, KY - Spirit of Truth Outreach- Pastor Dustin York

We had just come through a night of sirens and tornado warnings in Memphis, and were glad to get on our way toward Kentucky. 

The storm clouds told us that something major was on its way, and as we drove on I-40 near Nashville, Tennessee, we wondered if we would ever make it to Somerset.  It became a treacherous journey through rapidly moving flood waters. We prayed hard each time we had to enter these waters, and even called others to pray for us. There was no other way, but to go through. These were the terrible days that devastated Nashville and other cities with great amounts of rain.  I-40 was shut down just after we were able to pull off at the Dickson exit, where we became stranded for three days. Just one more adventure on the evangelistic field! We thank God for His protection.

You can be sure that we rejoiced to arrive safely at our destination.  Although the floods required us to delay the start of the meetings God surely worked in many lives at the Spirit of Truth Outreach where Dustin and Chrystal York minister to people from all walks of life.

The people responded to the preaching of the Word, praying and committing their lives to the Lord.

Two men earnestly sought the Lord and were wonderfully filled with the Holy Ghost. The power of God swept over them mightily, bringing great rejoicing and praise.

Nothing makes the pastor and evangelist happier than to see lives effected and changed by the Lord.

May souls continue to be saved and delivered at Spirit of Truth Outreach!

Since the end of May 2009 the Lord has privileged us 
to preach revivals and
other special services in many states and Mexico. He has shown His mighty power by  saving souls, baptizing with His Spirit, healing bodies, sanctifying believers, calling to the ministry,
 reviving churches and individuals who seek Him.  Additionally, many have had a
renewed vision to reach 
the lost. 
It is a joy to report the faithfulness and goodness 
of the Lord!
