Feb 24, 2010 -Martinsville, Virginia - Martinsville Church of Truth-
Pastor Bill Preskitt
It was a blessing to be here and to see the Lord move by His Spirit. Good old fashioned Pentecostal praying and seeking the Lord was evident at the altars. Our burden continues to be, "Oh, Lord, wilt thou not revive us again that thy people may rejoice in thee?"
Feb 21, 2010 -Roanoke, Virginia- Lighthouse Full Gospel Church- Pastor Michael Shaffer
It is always a special joy to see Pastor and Sister Shaffer. This is not the first time we have been here in Roanoke, and we always look forward to the heartfelt response in the services.
During this meeting we also were privileged to visit with the parents of Sister Shaffer, Rev. and Mrs. Dale Wallace who pastor at Weleetka, Oklahoma.
We appreciated the opportunity to minister here, and for the accommodations and friendship. Feb 14, 2010 -DANVILLE, VIRGINIA- Mount View Holiness Church- Pastor Joey Yeatts As we traveled from Louisville, Kentucky to Danville, Virginia we were awed by the beautiful mountains.
The grandeur of the mountains made us praise the Lord
for His great creation. Yet, it is He who supercedes the greatness of
all He has made. Praise the Lord! We were blessed to stay at the Hampton Inn at Danville, and to be picked up each day by Pastor Joey Yeatts for lunch, and the service at night. It was an exciting moment to finally arrive at the church for the first time, anticipating what God would do here.
We were certainly treated to southern hospitality and fellowship each day. We praised the Lord for the desire for revival that we found in the pastor and people. Pastor Yeatts expressed his heart's cry to see a move of God, and we saw many seeking for more of God.
The Lord anointed the preaching and teaching and stirred the flame of revival at Mount View Holiness Church.
There was rejoicing over two who got saved, and for those who were earnestly praying to receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. One young man had already seen God work wonders in his life, transforming him, and giving him a desire for more of God. It was good to meet many new friends and to renew fellowship with many others. We have come to dearly love Mom and Dad Yeatts... Mom Yeatts is like an exquisite Southern Belle!
The last night of revival was February 19th, and happened to be Brother Goodwin's eightieth birthday! The church just had to help us celebrate as can be seen by the pictures below, taken at Bojangles in Danville.
It was a great time enjoyed by all. The final pose
shows you three gallant men... all wearing hats!
